Every year, since I was very young, I have been traveling to the Greece Island of Skiathos in the Aegean. During these many years it has become a very important place to me. I love the people, the food, the simplicity and the vibrancy on the island; and ever since I began making glass art I have wanted to try to capture and reflect these things in a body of work. These pieces do just this, taking over 1,000 individual strands of coloured glass, weaving and twisting them through the depths of the glass, creating a unique and moving vibrancy of colour.
